There’s a retail corner in our hometown that has been just a curse to restaurants. For God only knows what reason, in spite of the insurmountable facts of no parking and a lousy view, owners keep betting they’ve got the secret recipe. They all go in full of good intentions, and come out with their tails between their legs. They all come away with the same story. Mistake #1 was moving in. Mistake #2 was waiting too long to get out.
A lot like Afghanistan.
